Why use the online ski rental service?

You receive up to 15% discount on online ski rental!  You also save time once here, so you can hit the slopes as fast as possible.

Is last minute online booking possible?

Online booking is possible right up to one day prior to rental day. This time is needed to ensure that your selected equipment is properly prepared, even during peak business periods.

How do I choose the right equipment?

You have two options

  • Book a category - if you don’t know which ski suits you, simply book one of the categories - our professional team will gladly advise you on site.
  • Book a model - here you have the opportunity to reserve your desired ski or snowboard from a selection of models - the selected equipment in your preferred length is then ready for you to pick up in the shop.
Are poles included in the ski rental?

Yes, ski poles are included free with the ski hire.

Can the equipment be insured?

Yes, even online - you can insure your rented skis and/or snowboard against breakage and theft for only 10% of the equipment rental price. In this case, Tuxer Sporthaus assumes responsibility for the risk of theft and breakage. You can find the exact conditions in our General Terms and Conditions of Trading.

Ski theft must be reported to the police.
Your deductible fee in the event of loss or damage to the skis or snowboard is € 100.-

Can I exchange the equipment I have rented during the rental period?

During the rental period, it is possible to exchange the rented equipment. There will of course be no additional charge for equipment exchanged within the same rental category. Subject to surcharge, it is also possible to swap equipment for articles in a higher category. In the event of a change to a lower category, there will be no refund/reduction of the price.

What methods of payment can I use?

You can pay by MasterCard, Visa, V-Pay, Amex, JCB, Union Pay, Diners Club, Discover or in cash on collection of the rental equipment.

What must I take into consideration at the end of the booking?

After booking you will receive confirmation, which you should print our and bring with you to the shop for equipment collection.

When can I collect my booked equipment?

On request, the booked equipment can be picked up on the day prior to the first rental day from 4 pm.

When do I have to return the rented equipment?

Equipment return at Tuxer Sporthaus - at no extra charge - is possible until 10:30 am on the following day.

Can I make bookings for my family and/or friends?

The same procedure applies to family and/or group bookings as individual bookings. Please repeat the process (additional persons) in the online booking procedure until all members have been added.

In the event of injury or illness, am I entitled to a reimbursement for the remaining rental period?

Yes, on presentation of a medical certificate, you are entitled to a reimbursement for the remaining rental period.

Do I have the right to reimbursement of the rental fee in the event of an unredeemed booking?

Cancellations can only be made on grounds of illness, accident or for other serious reasons (e.g. death in the family or of one of the travelling party). What happens to the personal data that I submit during the booking process?

Personal data provided by the Customer at the time of booking is used exclusively for the processing of the rental transaction processed and in compliance with the applicable national and European data protection regulations. Tuxer Sporthaus warrants simultaneously that it will use the data it collects only for the above purposes and will not sell, rent or pass these data on to third parties. Personal data is passed on to Tuxer Sporthaus purely for the preparation of the rental transaction and provision of hired equipment/additional products.
